Mr. Spearing

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will state the amount and percentage of his expenditure on roads that are the responsibility of his Department on(a) maintenance, (b) cleansing, (c)improvements to existing routes, including bridge rebuilding, (d) bypasses around urban or residential areas, (e) capital expenditure on new motorways, (f) new construction of other roads and (g) other expenditure.
