Dr. Lynne Jones

To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will make a statement on the future of mental illness specific supplementary credit approvals.

It is our intention that both the mental illness specific grant and the supplementary credit approvals will continue, in order to support the improvement of social care services which local authorities provide for mentally ill people in the community.
