§ Mr. Michael ForsythInternationally comparable unemployment figures based on the International Labour Organisation definition of unemployment are published by EUROSTAT in its monthly "Unemployment Bulletin", copies of which are available in the Library. These show that the United Kingdom is one of only two European Community countries where the rate of unemployment is now below what it was at the beginning of the year.
