To ask the President of the Board of Trade when he expects to announce the commencement of the Gas (Exempt Supplies) Act 1992.

I refer my hon. Friend to the answer I gave him on 25 June 1993,Official Report, column 294. It is still our intention to bring the Gas (Exempt Supplies) Act 1993 into force by mid-1994.
