§ Sir George YoungThe educational trust of the Institute of Rent Officers has established a working party comprising rent officers and rent assessment panel members, to consider and clarify issues affecting the registration of fair rents in the light of changes in the market for rented housing. The working party aims to produce a report by next spring, which it hopes will assist rent officers and members of rent assessment panels in exercising their functions under the Rent Act 1977.
