§ Mr. John MarshallTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects waste disposal licences under the Control of Pollution Act 1974 to convert automatically to waste management licences under the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
§ Mr. YeoIt is the Government's intention to bring the waste management licensing provisions of part II of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 into force on 1 May 1994. Waste disposal licences will convert automatically to waste management licences on that day.
