§ Mr. NorrisIn 1992–93 public investment in London Transport, Network SouthEast and docklands light railway amounted to around £1,400 million, while expenditure by central Government and local authorities on roads in London, excluding M25, was about £400 million. Expenditure on Network SouthEast benefited a broader area than London alone.
