§ Mr. Charles WardleIt is for police forces and local communities to decide—through consultation—where the pilot schemes for parish constables should be. A number of forces are currently engaged in such consultation. A further announcement will be made nearer the time about the pilot schemes which are being set up. I am pleased with the progress made so far.
