§ Mr. Peter LloydWe provide posters and leaflets to let elderly and disabled people know about their right to vote by post or by proxy. It is our practice before a general election to undertake a publicity campaign to tell people how to apply for an absent vote and to let them know the closing date. We do not undertake a similar campaign for local government or European parliamentary elections where the timetable is known well in advance.
