§ Mr. SackvilleGuidelines on the promotion of medicines are contained in the code of practice for the pharmaceutical industry administered by the Prescription Medicines Code of Practice Authority, a copy of which is available in the Library. We are proposing to introduce legislation under the Medicines Act 1968 next month to control hospitality offered by drug companies.
