§ Miss WiddecombeTraining and enterprise councils have been in existence only three years and generally perform well. However, the performance of each TEC is kept constantly under review and the Department takes appropriate action to ensure any necessary improvements. An independent assessors committee, chaired by Sir Anthony Cleaver, has been set up to advise the Department on TEC performance.
