§ Mr. MackinlayTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what assessment he has made of the impact on United Kingdom-Polish relations of the suspension of the permit for Lot Airlines to land at Heathrow.
§ Mr. Douglas HoggI am naturally concerned at the suspension of air services between Britain and Poland. This is in neither country's interests. It is essentially a matter for resolution between the two airlines. We are making every effort however to help secure a settlement to this commercial dispute under the terms of the existing air services agreement.
