HC Deb 05 November 1993 vol 231 cc497-8W
Mr. Allen

To ask the Lord President of the Council if he will list the occasions since 1979 on which the House has agreed to Lords amendments to Bills once they had been rejected by the Commons on a prior occasion.

Mr. Newton

The records show two examples of the House of Commons not insisting on its disagreement with the House of Lords on Lords amendments:

  1. 1. 12th June 1984 re Housing and Building Control Bill.
  2. 2. 5th November 1986 re Housing and Planning Bill.
