§ Mr. HunterTo ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will place in the Library a copy of the report he commissioned from KPMG on Enterprise Ulster.
§ Mr. AtkinsResponsibility for the subject in question has been delegated to the Training and Employment Agency under its chief executive, Mr. Julian Crozier. I have asked him to provide you with the information requested.
Letter from J. S. Crozier to Mr. Andrew Hunter, dated 4 November 1993:
You recently asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will place in the library a copy of the report he commissioned from KPMG on Enterprise Ulster. The Secretary of State has passed your question to me, as Chief Executive of the Training and Employment Agency for reply. This report was commissioned by the Agency as part of an exercise to consider options for Enterprise Ulster's future development having regard to the Agency's aims and objectives. This was essentially an internal review. When decisions have been taken by Ministers on Enterprise Ulster they will I am sure be made public. Meanwhile however I would not consider it appropriate to place the report in the library.I am sorry I cannot be more helpful on this occasion.
