§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe UNHCR issued on 2 November a progress report on the winterization programme in the former Yugoslavia, copies of which have been placed in the Libraries of the House.
We are working closely with the UNHCR and other United Nations agencies. We have so far committed £152.5 million including our share of EC aid. We are financing shelter, road convoys, the restoration of coal and electricity supplies, medical help and food. We are supporting the United Nation's strong representations to the warring factions to stop obstructing these vital humanitarian supplies. We are a major contributor to the airlift to Sarajevo.
