To ask the President of the Board of Trade (1) if he has received the inspector's report in respect of the public inquiry dealing with the proposed Cory refuse-to-energy plant in Belvedere;

(2) when he expects to be able to make a statement on the proposed Cory refuse-to-energy plant in Belvedere.

My right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade received the inspector's report yesterday.

My right hon. Friend will give timely and careful consideration to the report and will announce his decision on the application at the earliest possible opportunity after having considered the report.
