To ask the Chairman of the Accommodation and Works Committee how many hon. Members have single rooms(a) in total and (b) by party.

Four hundred and forty-five hon. Members have single rooms as follows: 243 Conservatives, 185 Labour, 10 Liberal Democrats, 2 Scottish National party, 2 Ulster Unionist party, 2 Plaid Cymru, 1 Ulster Popular Unionist party. These figures include office holders' rooms.
