Mr. Henderson

To ask the Secretary of State for Education what was the regional total of capital allocations for education to the local authorities in England for(a) 1979–80, (b) 1982–83, (c) 1985–86 and (d) each year since 1988–89 for each standard English region.

3. Allocations for self-governing (GM) schools are not included.

4. Figures for 1979–80 are not available.

5. Figures for 1993–94 include SCAs issued up to 3 November 1993.
