HC Deb 02 November 1993 vol 231 c131W
Mr. Redmond

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what is the minimum permitted altitude for Royal Air Force aircraft flying over Turkey.

Mr. Hanley

RAF aircraft do not conduct any low flying over Turkey. If low flying were carried out, however, the minimum altitude would normally be 500 ft, although flying down to 250 ft could be permitted when undertaking practice bombing runs.
