§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe United Kingdom's small aid programme to Paraguay involves technical co-operation rather than financial aid. The bulk of the programme is focused on the natural resources sector. It currently comprises the following projects
assistance with a major economic review of the livestock sub-sector;capability strengthening programme with Pro-Paraguay—the organisation responsible for promoting Paraguayan exports and attracting foreign investment;United Kingdom training programme—involving scholarships for some 14 Paraguayans annually;assistance in undertaking a post-census assessment survey.The ODA is also supporting a number of non-governmental organisation projects in Paraguay through its joint funding scheme.
