HL Deb 02 November 1993 vol 549 c114WA
Lord Harris of Greenwich

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have received a copy of the study commissioned by Avon County Council into congestion charging and parking restraint methods, to which the department contributed; whether they will place a copy in the Library of the House; and what further action is contemplated.

The Earl of Caithness

We have now received the report of the study commissioned by Avon County Council looking at ways of tackling the effects of growing car use in Bristol. It identifies a programme of further work which Avon County Council are currently discussing with the Department of Transport.

We have arranged for copies of the report entitled Bristol Traffic Restraint Study: Stage 1 to be placed in the Library of the House.
