§ Mr. YeoThe Government's position was set out in the White Paper, "This Common Inheritance" (Cm. 1200). This said that the Government had not ruled out sea disposal for large items such as boilers, but would keep under review whether this disposal option needed to be maintained. Decommissioning wastes from nuclear-propelled submarines are a matter for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Defence.
