§ Mr. Gwilym JonesIn March 1993, the Welsh Office, together with the Department of the Environment and Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, published its response to the consultation exercise it carried out on the criteria and procedures for identifying sensitive areas under the urban waste water treatment directive. The National Rivers Authority has been asked to compile a list of candidate sensitive areas using these criteria. Although the Countryside Council for Wales has not made any proposals on the basis of the finalised criteria, it will be consulted about the NRA's list.
