Ms Harman

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list the groups of public employees that have reached pay settlements on their pay round since the autumn statement; and on what dates those settlements were reached.

Settlements have been reached in respect of the following groups:

Settlements have also been reached for a number of smaller groups.

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish a table showing the earnings of those public employees on top salaries as defined by the Pay Board Review Body by scale and group in real terms at January 1993 prices for each year since 1990–91; and if he will provide estimates for 1993–94 and 1994–95.

Data on earnings, where this differs from the salaries and scales down, are not available. It is not possible to make estimates of pay rates beyond the current year. The other information requested is shown in the table.

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list those groups of public employees that have received pay offers in their latest pay round of less than 1.5 per cent., and if he will list those groups of public employees that have had offers of zero per cent.
