§ Mr. MacleanAggregate projections of energy use in United Kingdom industry to 2020 are given in Energy Paper 59, published by the Department of Trade and Industry in 1992.
In addition, my Department is sponsoring an analysis of industrial energy use and greenhouse gas emissions based on an understanding of energy technologies. The methodology is comparable with that underlying energy use in United Kingdom manufacturing industry up to the year 2000 and we hope to start publishing the results, including projections to 2020 under a range of assumptions, in 1994.
