To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list the new passenger air routes developed during 1992 and 1993 to date, to and from Cardiff, Wales airport; and what plans there are further to expand this number.

During 1992, services introduced at Cardiff, Wales airport included a scheduled link to Aberdeen and charter services to Dalaman and Antalya in Turkey, Gran Canaria, Lyon, Rome, Vienna and Berlin.

In 1993 charter services started to Paphos (Cyprus), Kos and Skiathos (Greece) and Adnan Menderes (Turkey).

The airport management has plans for additional new services but these are commercially confidential.
