§ Mrs. RocheTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many supervision orders with residence requirements have been imposed upon juveniles by courts in England and Wales over the last period for which figures are available.
§ Mr. JackThe Children Act 1989 introduced powers which enable the courts to include a requirement in a supervision order that a child or young person shall live for a specified period in local authority accommodation. Information about the numbers subject to the requirement will not be available until the autumn of 1993.
