HC Deb 20 May 1993 vol 225 cc278-9W
Mr. McMaster

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the organisational structure of Scottish Homes.

Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

[holding answer 19 May 1993]: It is the responsibility of Scottish Homes to devise an organisational structure capable of delivering the objectives contained in its strategic plan, which has to be approved annually by my right hon. Friend. The creation of any new post in the organisation at a level equivalent to grade 5 or above in the civil service requires the prior approval of my Department.
