To ask the Secretary of State for Health what response she is making to the recommendations in the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children report on joint enterprise and parents.

I have seen a copy of the report submitted to the Royal Commission on Criminal Justice, which itself is expected to report in the summer. This is principally a matter for the Home Office and I refer my hon. Friend to the reply my hon. Friend the Minister of State, Home Department, gave to the hon. Member for Wentworth (Mr. Hardy) on 5 May at column 83.
