To ask the President of the Board of Trade what plans he has to meet representatives of the clearing banks to discuss their policies towards small businesses.

Ministers in this Department have frequent meetings with representatives of the clearing banks to discuss their policies towards small businesses and we will continue to do so.

To ask the President of the Board of Trade whether he plans to meet representatives of the clearing banks in order to discuss support for small businesses.
