Member for Berwick-upon-Tweed (Mr. Beith), of 26 February,Official Report, column 764, whether the rules regarding the provision of car benefits are in practice implemented for Ministers in exactly the same way as the Inland Revenue expects them to be implemented for employees in general.
§ Mr. Dorrell[holding answer 13 May 1993]: The same rules apply to Ministers as to other employees, and the Inland Revenue seeks to apply the law even-handedly to Ministers and to others.
