§ Mr. Archie HamiltonWe have carried out 10 confidence and security-building measures evaluations and three inspections. The evaluations were conducted in the then Soviet Union, Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Belarus, and Ukraine, with inspections in Belarus and Russia. Although there have been on occasions some minor logistical difficulties, no problems of substance have arisen.
