§ Mr. ColvinTo ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will publish the value to the United Kingdom, in pounds sterling, of the offset arrangements linked to the purchase from the United States of the E-3D AWACS Sentry aircraft.
§ Mr. AitkenBoeing's performance against the AWACS offset requirement has been measured in United States dollars. Using an average exchange rate for the period in question, the value of contracts placed under the terms of the agreement is approximately £950 million.
