§ Mr. SackvilleThe level of job opportunities available to newly qualified nurses will be for regional health authorities and local employers to decide. Where possible, regional health authorities and local employers are taking a variety of approaches to manage the situation, including expansion of flexible working patterns, job sharing, short-term contracts and clearing house schemes which alert newly qualified nurses to suitable posts.
