To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage what steps have been taken to ensure that the British museum has used the proceeds of the Bernard Shaw estate to fulfil the ends expressed in Mr. Shaw's will.

The use of income from the bequest is entirely a matter for the trustees of the British Museum.
