§ Mr. Douglas HoggWe were a prime mover in securing the appointment by the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in Geneva of a special rapporteur to investigate the human rights situation on a public basis throughout Sudan. We are in touch with our EC partners, the United States and others about further ways in which we might involve the United Nations on Sudan.
