To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department (1) what have been the proceeds from the Bernard Shaw estate administered by the Public Trustee since 1963;

(2) what he estimates have been the proceeds of the Bernard Shaw estate accruing to the British museum in each year since 1990.

The Public Trustee does not normally disclose publicly information about the estates of private individuals. In particular, the Public Trustee is obliged by rule 29(2) of the Public Trustee Rules 1912 to observe strict secrecy in respect of every trust or estate in course of administration by him.
