§ Mr. Peter Atkinson
To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what arrangements he intends to make to codify and publicise the financial management relation-ship between his Department and the Commission for the New Towns.

§ Mr. Baldry
I am pleased to announce that I have today issued a management statement which has been agreed with the Commission for the New Towns. This comes into force on 1 April 1993, and a copy has been placed in the Library of the House. This document sets out the main objectives of the Commission and the structure of financial accountability between my Department and the Commission.
