Mr. Dowd

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to her answer of 18 March,Official Report, column 351, if she will describe the process involved which caused the change from the previous answer of 14 January, Official Report, column 800, with regard to HIV/AIDS grant to the London borough of Bromley; how many other local authorities benefited by the same process; and if she will list the comparable figures for each local authority for changes at the same point in the financial year since the introduction of HIV/AIDS grant support to local authorities.

A sum of money was identified from this year's programmed spending which enabled the Department to meet Bromley's late bid. No other authorities received money in this way.
