§ Mr. Maclean[holding answer 26 March 1992]: As at 26 March 1993, 481 agreements had been made under the scheme since it was launched in July 1992, as a result of which some 640 km of hedgerow will be restored over the next five years. I will write to the hon. Member with regard to the anticipated cost of these works.
