To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, pursuant to his answer to the hon. Member for Chelmsford of 18 March,Official Report, columns 327–8, what were the voting figures for each member state recorded in the meeting of the European Community's Economic and Finance Council held on 15 March.

No formal votes were taken at the meeting of the European Community's Economic and Finance Council on 15 March. There was no opposition to the agreements reported in the reply I gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Chelmsford (Mr. Burns) on 18 March at column 327–8.
