To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what plans he has to review the methods used in the preparation and amendment of citizens charters.

We do not set down a central blueprint for preparing or amending charters. The important point is that both new and revised charters should set demanding but realistic targets for service delivery which reflect the expressed needs and priorities of their users.
