The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of Defence (Viscount Cranborne)The amphibious helicopter carrier (LPH) remains in the defence programme. We have now invited the tenderers to clarify their bids, which we will evaluate against our normal technical and value for money criteria. We expect to place an order later this year, subject to the result of the competition.
