686WThe figures for the European regional development fund for the years 1985–86 to 1990–91 include receipts from the European social fund, as these were not separately attributed for these years.
The figures for 1992–93 are estimated outturns; those for 1993–94 relate to forecast receipts. Receipts in future years will depend upon the success of Scottish Enterprise in securing European funding. The sums exclude direct receipts to the local enterprise companies, which have since 1992 been eligible to apply for financial assistance from the European regional development fund and the European social fund.
