§ Mr. SackvilleThe number of conceptions to women aged under 20 in England and Wales during 1990, which resulted in live births, stillbirths or legal abortions were 115,055. This represents a rate of 69.0 per 1,000 women in the age group 15 to 19. Data for 1991 and 1992 are not yet available. Comparable data on numbers of conceptions in a calender year are not available for Scotland or Northern Ireland. However, the relevant information for Scotland and Northern Ireland that is available is shown in the table.
