This represented 16.8 per cent. of all 1989 live births in the borough. Equivalent figures for 1990 and 1991 were 721 and 723 live births respectively. This represented 16.6 per cent. of all live births in the borough for both 1990 and 1991.

§ Mr. SackvilleIn 1989, there were 2,184 live births outside marriage in the London borough of Lambeth. This represented 48.7 per cent. of all 1989 live births in the borough. Equivalent figures for 1990 and 1991 were 2,072 and 2,100 live births respectively. This represented 47.6 per cent. and 48.2 per cent. respectively of all live births in the borough for 1990 and 1991.
