§ Mr. LangOnly one authority, Shetland islands council, submitted a claim for grant under the Bellwin scheme following the storms in January 1992. This claim has been assessed, and I have decided to approve payment of £61,897 in grant to help meet an undue financial burden which the council suffered in responding to those storms under the terms of the scheme which I announced on 10 January last year. Payment of grant will be made to the council today.
