§ Mr. NorrisThe runway capacity working group is undertaking a detailed examination of four airports, including Stansted airport, covering the notional runway alignments identified in the Civil Aviation Authority's report CAP570 and others. It will ultimately be for promoters rather than Government to make specific proposals. The Department does not expect to be taking any part in the forthcoming public inquiry into the Uttlesford district plan.
