§ Mr. SackvilleThis information is not available centrally. From a recent survey we estimate that across the national health service 1,800 residential properties are vacant. This figure excludes places in hostels for nurses and other staff.
In conjunction with the task force on Government Departments' empty homes, we are considering measures to bring more of these empty properties back into use.
