§ Mr. Lennox-BoydFollowing a request from the United Nations High Commission for Refugees through our embassy in Guatemala city, an RAF Hercules, in successive sorties between 28 and 31 January, flew a total of some 100 tons of emergency food and other supplies to the north of the country to provide assistance for the first group of returning refugees from Mexico. Our embassy in Guatemala City continues to monitor the situation.
